Hotel Matsunoi - Tokyo

I loved the great location tucked away in an alley near the station, making it easy to explore. The room was clean and cozy, though a bit small. I enjoyed a quiet stay despite the nearby train tracks-earplugs helped on busier nights. Perfect for solo travelers!

Location: the hotel was next to nearest subway, restaurants and things to do, and train station. We had well-equipped and modern rooms with an electric kettle and a refrigerator.

Great location, the hotel was walk from an underground station. Really enjoyed staying at the single room with bath and a big tub.

Disappointing aspect was quite small bathroom.

I had a lovely stay! The location was perfect, super close to the metro and surrounded by tasty Korean eateries. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was cozy and clean, though the pillows took a night to get used to. A charming spot to recharge!

Comfy bed, well-equipped and modern room with climate control, a flat-screen TV and a fridge. Fairly clean private bathroom. Amazing and incredible location just walking distance from Okubo Park. 20 mins walk to the metro.

No reason to complain, the venue met the purpose. The double room was modern, it included an electric kettle, a refrigerator, and air conditioner. The location was amazing, very close to lots of korean restaurants nearby and a lively area in Tokyo...

the rooms were snug and peaceful, offering a cozy atmosphere with lovely lighting. the staff members were friendly and always ready to assist, especially when I arrived late. I was grateful for the chance to leave my luggage safely while I explored nearby restaurants and shops, all just a short walk away. the view from the rooftop was amazing, making my experience even more nice.

This hotel is a hidden gem! So close to the station, making travel super easy. The area is lively and diverse, with yummy food options everywhere. The staff are friendly, and I loved the cozy Japanese room. Perfect for late-night adventures, too-felt safe wandering around!

Super cozy spot to crash. Clean room, killer shower pressure. Got my own mini fridge, too. Staff were friendly and helpful. But just a heads up, it's noisy at night from folks heading home. Still, I'd totally come back!

Compact but thoughtful amenities

The self check-out process was efficient, and I enjoyed yummy snacks from a street vendor right outside the hotel. The heater and hot water in the shower worked perfectly, making my stay comfortable.

Unpleasant and confrontational employee interactions!!! Poor follow-up on luggage storage inquiries!!! Noise from the alley outside was distracting at times!!! Rooms felt smaller than expected!!! A simple complaint could turn into a hassle.

Matsunoi is in the bustling Shin-Okubo area, but it provides a tranquil escape thanks to its location on a side street. The room, though small, was impeccably clean and modern, offering a comfortable stay. The restaurant on-site is excellent.

The rooms may be too small for those seeking spacious accommodations.
